Rental Manager needed:

Manager needed for rental of home and garage apartment in Austin


1. At least 5 years of management experience
2. Letters of reference from at least 3 present clients
3. Mature very responsible person
4. Computer available and knowledge of Excel, word processing and email
5. Prompt communication with owner and landscape manager


1. Rental of properties when vacancies occur including screening of potential tenants
2. Evictions if necessary
3. Management of rental income, security deposits, insurance, utility payments and repairs
4. Maintenance of accounting records and issue of brief monthly reports to owner.
5. Visit property every two weeks
6. Coordinate any outdoor needs with landscape manager
7. Cleaning screen vents in attic, air filter in air conditioner in windows every two weeks from April 1 to November 1. Clean air filter in space heater in apartment
once a month from November 1 to April 1.
8. Vacuum ceiling fan blades every 6 months
9. Clean floor furnace of house with vacuum before the state of each heating season and light pilot on about November 1
10. Check refrigerator and composting toilet in apartment

Pay: 10% of monthly rents
